Laurent Ferrier Galet Square

Drawing from his latest model, the Galet Square, Laurent Ferrier creates a two-tone silvered sector dial, recalling the late 1930s with its combination of vertical and circular brushed finishing. In place of the 6 o’clock dial spot traditionally reserved for the word Swiss, Laurent Ferrier has instead inscribed Only Watch 2015 to emphasize the watch’s unique nature.

Time is indicated via ruthenium-coated 18-karat gold hour and minute hands, while the subsidiary dial with snailed small seconds was created with a baton shaped hand. The Galet Square’s cushion-shaped stainless steel case is reinterpreted here with straight lugs and gold half spheres. Inside, Laurent Ferrier’s own FBN caliber 229.01 features an automatic micro-rotor movement and is regulated by a échappement naturel. To complement the blue dial accents Ferrier completed this watch with a blue leather strap and stainless steel buckle.
