TUSTIN, Calif. – June 14, 2012 – We are only half way into 2012 and it has already proven to be a successful year for the American watch brand Jorg Gray and its three brand ambassadors. After welcoming the brand’s paramount ambassador and IndyCar racing icon Alex Tagliani to the family last year, Jorg Gray embraced international soccer superstar Clint Dempsey and premier MotoGP racer Ben Spies at the beginning of this year. And boy, have they made the watch brand proud.
As recently reported, Alex Tagliani won the Firestone 550 pole for the IndyCar Series at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas this past weekend – outperforming the 2012 Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti by .045 of a second. Tagliani placed 12th overall at the 2012 Indy 500.
Clint Dempsey just finished an incredible season with London-based Fulham Football Club (FFC) and was recently announced as FFC’s “Player of the Season,” as voted by the fans. Throughout his 2011/2012 season with the FFC, Dempsey broke both professional and personal records and is currently continuing his legacy by playing for the U.S. Men’s National Team(USMNT), helping them advance in the World Cup Qualifiers. Ben Spies has been relentlessly competing across Europe while documenting his progress abroad through his blog. Spies kicked off June with a good start on the Catalunya Circuit – showing signs of a promising racing season.
