The King of Diamonds, Harry Winston combines beautiful jewels with watchmaking precision in their Midnight Diamond Stalactites Automatic 36mm. An exquisite array of diamonds, pink sapphires and rubies are set against a backdrop of mother-of-pearl in a dial motif that recalls the beauty of nature in their unique formation. The white gold case, too, adds to the sparkle with its accent of 84 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and lugs. A white satin strap further highlights the elegant tableau.
Inside is an automatic movement, HW2008, with a silicon balance spring. The the exhibition caseback reveals the skeletonized rose gold oscillating weight, circular Côtes de Genève finishes and chamfered bridges.
The dial is beaded mother-of-pearl with a stalactites décor embellished with 41 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling about 1.06 carats, 96 pink sapphires totaling about 0.46 carat and 24 rubies totaling approximately 0.17 carat. Central hours and seconds mark the time.
The Harry Winston Midnight collection comprises a variety of timepieces for women and men ranging in size from 32mm to 42mm, available in rose or white gold. Styles range from simple silver-toned dials to the more ornate decorated with feathers, diamonds and pearl.
