Swiss watchmaker Ernest Borel was honored to recently welcome its new global brand ambassador, the German born Prince of Gymnastics and London Olympics medalist Marcel Nguyen, in its new factory based in the heart of Jura Mountains in Switzerland.
During his visit in Ernest Borel’s modern workshop, brand ambassador Marcel Ngyuen was impressed by the meticulousness of watchmakers as well as their traditional know-how and the sophisticated instruments required to build each Ernest Borel watch, following in this way the reputation of excellence of the brand.
The young world rising star of Gymnatics had the opportunity to play the role of a watchmaker under the attentive eyes of Ernest Borel’s President Mr. Raphaël Boillat.
Following this new practice, Marcel said: It was an eye-opening experience that brought me closer to understanding the highly sophisticated and complex work that goes into watchmaking at Ernest Borel. It is a procedure that somewhat echoes what I do professionally. Both involve enormous concentration, a lot of trying and testing and pursuit for perfection.
