TUSTIN, Calif. – July 9, 2012 – American MotoGP Superstar and Jorg Gray brand ambassador Ben Spies carried out another amazing finish in Germany last weekend. Despite the torrential downpour and harsh weather conditions, Spies relentlessly carried out an incredible performance on the track, placing second on the grid in the Sachsenring qualifier.
Spies finished the race in fourth place, only 0.071 behind third place Andrea Dovizioso. Sachsenring was Spies’ second consecutive weekend finishing in the Top 5. His excellent performance over the past two weeks in Europe has put him on the Top 10 Championship standings worldwide.
To celebrate Spies’ successful season thus far, the Jorg Gray family is hosting Spies at the Jorg Gray headquarters on July 23rd. Spies will be giving away the highly anticipated limited edition Ben Spies timepiece to his biggest fan before it is released to the public.
