Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision

The Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision premiered at 2015 SIHH in Geneva and was the watchmaker’s timepiece at a lower price-point than normal for the company. Design-wise, the watch is as thin as possible but still accommodates the inclined tourbillon cage.

The dome is an interesting element that directs the eye to the lower bridge of the tourbillon. This bridge takes its geometry from a Roman vault and its surface is gently polished by hand. Obtaining a perfectly straight reflection over the whole piece requires expertise and experience that each bridge finished in this way is signed by the craftsman who executed it. The nice play of colors and finishes creates a spectacular visual and a nice accentuation on the 72-power reserve indicator.
