Greubel Forsey Signature 1

The Signature 1 from Greubel Forsey debuted at this year’s SIHH in Geneva. The watch is a testament to the watchmaker’s dedication to artistry. The watch is a part of the Signature collection that allows watchmakers at Greubel Forsey to co-create their own timepieces.

Didier J.G. Cretin, a long time team member at the company, co-designed this particular watch. The piece is a manually wound watch with three hands, featuring an exclusively designed balance wheel and a gold dial. The hands are finished and countersunk by hand. The watch is placed on a hand-sewn leather strap.

The timepiece is a unique edition of 33 pieces in gold and platinum. 33 steel-cased pieces are also available. The white-gold version retails for $180,000.
