Dior, known for its exquisite timepieces for women—many of which are jewelry pieces—is introducing its latest collection of watches replica and jewelry: Granville. Named for the birthplace and childhood home of Christian Dior, on the Normandy coast of France, the collection is the brainchild of Dior creative director Victoire de Castellane. She was inspired by the festive atmosphere and colorful gardens surrounding the mansion, which she transformed into colored stones on the jewelry.
Color plays a starring role, says Castellane. They way in which [the jewelry] is assembled creates a sense of equilibrium that means that no one color dominates another so that each one has an equal chance to shine.
Twelve unique pieces comprise the jewelry collection and they feature such vibrant stones as beryl, peridot, aquamarine, tanzanite, chrysoberyl, pink tourmaline and rubellite in different cuts, sizes and mounts.
Castellane then took this motif to a Dior watch collection, D de Dior, and created nine timepieces in white, yellow or rose gold. The colorful palette is evident on the 19mm La Mini D de Dior, as well as the 25mm or 38mm La D de Dior. The rose gold La D de Dior shown here is set with brilliant-cut yellow sapphires on the bezel and a diamond on the crown, while the dial is turquoise. The joyful theme is carried through to the strap, which is pale pink patent leather with a rose gold buckle set with diamonds.
Other stunning combinations on watches replica include yellow gold, spessartite garnets, diamonds and lapis lazuli on a green strap, and white gold, purple sapphires, diamonds and jade on a red strap.
