At its debut SIHH Ulysse Nardin focuses on its deeply held ability to craft fine enamel dials. The newest Classico Manufacture attests to that skill with its rich blue Grand Feu enamel dial made by the Ulysse Nardin company Donzé Cadrans, an enamel dial specialist. The 40mm steel watch displays time with classic Roman numerals and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. Within lies a round date window the wearer can easily set the date forwards or backwards. The watch’s self-winding UN-320 caliber, produced in-house, incorporates a silicium hairspring and anchor escapement, also designed and manufactured in-house.
Also new is the Hourstriker Pin-Up, which combines two other brand specialties: automatons and erotic watches replica. The watch features a complicated mechanism that will strikes a chime at the hours and half-hours either by demand (with the pusher at 4 o’clock) or every passing hour and half-hour. The wearer can also choose to disengage the function by pressing the second push-button at 2 o’clock. The dial features a detailed, labor-intensive micropainting depicting a burlesque dancer and peacocks. Naturally, as these figures are jaquemarts (automatons) linked to the striking function, when the striking mechanism is activated, thepeacock moves to expose the dancer’s components.

Artemis Racing
The Swiss watchmaker also pays fresh tribute to the seafaring skill of partner Artemis Racing with the Ulysse Nardin Diver Chronograph Artemis Racing, a limited edition of 250 pieces. Its design incorporates a distinctive wave pattern on two sides of the bezel with engravings of the Artemis Racing catamaran in action on the dial. The Artemis Racing logo appears both in the 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, and on one of the two bracelet elements. The watch adds a rubberized screw crown for added water resistance (200 meters) and of course it offers a unidirectional bezel. The 45.8 mm diameter case, housing ETA-based Caliber UN-35, is made from stainless steel coated with rubber and finished with a medallion on the caseback illustrating the catamaran.
Also new for 2017: every single one of the Swiss manufacturer’s watches replica will carry a five-year warranty.
