Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Rose Gold Dive Series Makes Debut

LINDE WERDELIN, renowned for crafting high-end mechanical watches replica and attachable digital instruments for diving and skiing, releases the latest member of the distinguished family of revolutionary diving timepieces.

Oktopus II Rose Gold, crafted in 18 carat rose-gold and titanium, provides a sleek and stylish touch, while being robust enough to fully embrace an active lifestyle. It is now available in just 88 pieces on LindeWerdelin.com and via our retail partners around the world.

The Oktopus II Dive Series has been developed with the Reef, LINDE WERDELIN’s proprietary diving instrument, in mind. Its construction has been inspired by the equipment and tools employed in the LINDE WERDELIN LAB, where assessments of the Reef and Oktopus take place.

Having completed the complex development of the Reef and acquired unequalled in-house expertise, we had the opportunity to consider what our definition of a contemporary dive watch and dive instrument could be and we set about reconstructing the Oktopus family, says Jorn Werdelin.

The Oktopus II Rose Gold case construction ensures absolute water resistance and excellent anti-corrosive protection given by the finest materials employed, such as gold and titanium.

Morten Linde has carved his signature by decorating the back-case with an octopus drawing, making this collection truly iconic. The Oktopus II bears a fixed bezel as the information (time spent submersed), traditionally measured by a turning bezel, is available in the Reef dive computer.

Two laser-cut wheels at 11 and 1 o’clock, on the lower dial, are powered by the big calendar complication. While bearing the LINDE WERDELIN logo and indexes 3, 6 and 9 in superluminova, together with the big calendar wheels, the upper dial reveals the icon of an octopus.

Oktopus II – Rose Gold in rose gold and titanium retails at CHF 21,000, all exclusive of VAT. Availability starts now on LindeWerdelin.com or from any LW authorised retailer in local currency.
