Linde Werdelin Celebrates 10 Years

Ten years ago, Linde Werdelin declared itself to the world with the launch of its debut model, the “Founders Watch.” In honor of that milestone, this month, the Danish-Swiss watchmaker celebrates its anniversary with the LW 10-24.

This mid-year debut is the 74th addition to Linde Werdelin’s luxury watch family and the first timepiece of the brand’s self-declared “Third Generation” of products. The watchmaker a modern traveler’s watch would be the ideal release to celebrate the occasion and satisfy the company’s energetic customer base.

Linde Werdelin is famous for working with world-class designers, engineers, and artisans, and the LW 10-24 extends the tradition. The new watch’s luminescent hour markers and numerals are both functional and aesthetically striking.

“It’s really about pushing the limits of the artisans, while keeping the Linde Werdelin DNA,” company co-founder and design chief Morten Linde explained.

Functions of the new 10-24 include a GMT/second time zone and a day/night indicator. The watch’s complications can be controlled by the pusher-corrector on the flank of the watch. Company co-founder Jorn Werdelin opined that the new timepiece is ideally suited to the brand’s globetrotting collector fraternity. “A GMT is a traveller’s complication; the LW 10-24 is a traveller’s watch,” Werdelin observed.

Linde Werdelin offers customers two options. The 2016 Linde Werdelin 10-24 is available in 3DTP Carbon and 5N Rose Gold.
