Laurent Ferrier Galet Classic Square

Since 2015, Laurent Ferrier has adopted a new shape, the Square was entirely designed to reflect the codes of the Galet family. At Baselworld 2016, the watchmaker unveiled an original version of the Galet Classic Square representing a contemporary interpretation of early 19th century pocket watches replica: the Galet Classic Square – Tourbillon Double Balance-Spring Sector Dial.

The watch incorporates an avant-garde technique that ensures exceptional precision. It’s equipped with a tourbillon device conceived by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801. The main advantage of the construction is that the center of gravity is maintained, boosting its precision.

Inside the 41.5mm 18K white gold case is the Calibre reference: LF 619.01. The Caliber contains a number of finishes, like the Côtes de Genève motif, the baseplate is circular-grained, while the sharp edges and interior angels are chamfered and hand-polished, and the screw heads are also polished.
