Formula 1 racing is returning to Mexico! Watchmaker Hublot is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Big Bang and the simultaneous return of racing to the iconic Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, which has been redesigned by circuit architect Hermann Tilke, with a collection of 10 unique replica Big Bang Ferrari Tourbillon Mexico pieces.

In 1990, when Hublot was just 10 years old, Scuderia Ferrari secured its final victory on the Mexico Circuit before it disappeared from the Formula 1TM world championship calendar altogether at the end of the 1992 season.

For this momentous occasion, Hublot has produced a collection that offers the perfect balance between the tradition of the skeleton tourbillon complication and the sleek, innovative design of the Big Bang case.

The ten watch replica es replica in the collection sport an identical middle and mechanism: a Big Bang case and a hand-wound skeleton tourbillon developed by Hublot. Where the pieces differ are the exteriors. Each piece is adorned with different materials, original composites and alloys, including King Gold, carbon, and carbon ceramic encrusted with gold and titanium. The aesthetics of the pieces are largely based on the colors of Mexico, with each watch replica bearing a dominant splash of green.

A Ferrari F1-90 is screen printed on the sapphire back of the case in tribute to the 1990 race. To reinforce the symbolic nature of these 10 pieces, each watch replica is accompanied by a piston from the victorious car and a full size replica of the helmet worn by Sebastian Vettel, bearing his autograph.
