One of Hublot’s most famous watches replica, movements and designs all combined into one timepiece. The Big Bang Unico All Black is a true feat for the watchmaker. The limited edition contains 500 pieces.
The ceramic 45.5mm case contains the HUB1242 Caliber, which is also visible from the transparent caseback. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph. The watch is placed on a comfortable black rubber strap, completeing the dark aesthetic.
The All-Black design choice came from now-chairman of Hublot, Jean-Claude Biver. He wanted to test what art means in the watch community and opted for a deeply masculine aesthetic that has been a hit for the watchmaker for a decade.

The fruit of several years of research in collaboration with EPFL’s metallurgy department, Hublot has created a veritable “fusion” between pure gold and boron carbide (a ceramic): the brand has obtained an alloy of 18 carat gold surpassing traditional gold alloys in hardness and scratch resistance, while conserving the best properties of the ceramic and the gold. During the polishing, the raw alloy changes from a nearly black color to a unique gold tint, earning it the name “Magic Gold”.
