Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer

The most recent edition of the Senator Chronometer debuts just in time for Baselworld 2016. The German watchmaker presents timepieces in various shades of blue each year and this timepiece has a deep blue shade that attracts immediate attention. Long slim poire hands are made in polished white gold.

This new design is in a white gold case with the characteristic slim bezel, which makes it easier to read the different displays: small seconds at 6 o’clock and the power reserve at 12 o’clock.

The movement’s refined decorative elements include a sapphire crystal case that permits the wearer to see the famous three-quarter plate, screw-mounted gold chatons and a hand-engraved balance cock.

About Glashütte Original

The Glashütte Original manufactory begins the finest watchmaking traditions together and combines them, under one roof, with the most advanced of contemporary materials and production technologies. Although no single definition of the term has been accepted by all in the industry, the term manufactory is generally reserved for watchmaking firms that design and manufacture their own movements- an extraordinarily complex and time-consuming process.
