Frederique Constant Runabout Limited Edition

In 2009, Frederique Constant began a partnership with the Riva Historical Society. The goal of this charitable group is to help the owners conserve vintage Riva runabout boats in the best possible way. Frederique Constant commemorates the classic runabouts with an annual release of a nautically inspired limited edition watch of the same name.

Both versions of the latest of these Runabout watches replica feature a 43mm case in either stainless steel, or plated in rose gold. The sapphire crystal back is engraved with the flag of the Riva Historical Society and allows a view of the Sellita-based FC-303 caliber. Surprisingly, the water resistance in this robust case only achieves a nominal 30 meter rating. Each of the 2,888 pieces is delivered in a gift box that includes a miniature wooden powerboat that pays homage to the original runabouts of the 1920s. Prices: $1,550 (steel) and $1,895 (rose gold plate). See Frederique-constant.com
